Justice through Equal Justice Initiative

The Elidi Foundation is privileged to support the Equal Justice Initiative, an organization that epitomizes ‘representing the underrepresented’. Led by Professor Bryan Stevenson, EJI confronts the dark history of racial prejudice in the Deep South that persists in the courtroom today, working to end mass imprisonment. Stevenson and his team have changed the way we talk about race and incarceration, bringing hope and unflinching resolve to the conversation.

Equality through Immigration Relief

The Elidi Foundation feels fortunate to donate to the The Tides Foundation in support of California Immigrants during this global pandemic. It is disheartening that the very people that make up the backbone of our society are left without resources or support from the place they call home. We at the foundation have always admired the hard work of the immigrant community, and have studied or worked among them our entire lives. Our collective California home, a place immigrants tirelessly contribute to, to keep the economy and infrastructure in tact, needs to provide them what they so graciously provide it: it’s care.

Preservation through Saving Spaces

The Elidi Foundation has supported The National Trust for Historic Preservation since our founding. We believe that a deep understanding of the past guides our future. Every historical place has a soul and a story to tell. Preserving such sites, to educate and inspire future generations is a mission we find vital. By honoring and learning from our collective history, we are a more enlightened society. There is no place wiser, than one that has persisted through time.
